How to Pack a Kitchen Safely

The kitchen is often one of the most time-consuming rooms to pack due to the mix of fragile and awkwardly shaped items.

Dispose of open food items and donate anything you won’t use before moving day.
Empty and clean all appliances to prevent spills, crumbs, or lingering odours.
Secure removable cords in labelled plastic bags and place them inside the appliance or the same box.
If available, pack appliances in their original boxes for the best protection.
Wrap plates, cups, and mugs individually in packing paper
Use bubble wrap between stacked items to reduce movement.
Clearly mark boxes containing breakables as FRAGILE.
